Overall objective for Project by 2028 

Parents and carers have access to timely local advice related to SEND. 

DSPL website is used as primary information source for schools and parents. We have seen an increase of traffic over the 3 years of project.  

Objective for current year 2025-2026 

Parent support provided has a 90% satisfaction rate.  

School support provided has a 90% satisfaction rate.  

15-20 learners have targeted assessments provided in a timely fashion.  

Project provides opportunities for parents to attend courses related to emotional wellbeing and transitions, have 1.2.1 advice and attend information fairs in our local area.  

Schools identify training needs and can access a relevant training course over the period of the project.  

Teaching Assistant training course to sit alongside other Hertfordshire training is run and evaluated during the year.
